1 Post-Doc Researcher - IGIER Research Center - Università Bocconi

The IGIER research center at Bocconi University invites applications for 1 Post-doc position, to work on project “WeSET- New Direct Empirical Evidence on Wage Setting”.

The Post- doc Researcher will contribute to the project, especially to the economic analysis on bargaining in the labor market. The analysis will mostly be empirical, but insights will be inspired by small-scale theoretical models. The Post- doc Researcher will be involved in survey design and survey collection, field experiment design and implemenation, and microeconometrics analysis of large administrative data, including unstructured text data.

The successful candidate has strong quantitative skills in economics analysis, the capacity of conducting high-level research in labor economics and previous experience in any of the following tasks: survey design/collection, field experiment design/implementation, text analysis and quasi-experimental designs in large administrative datasets. Previous experience with French/Swedish administrative data will be appreciated. Expert programming skills in any of the following is required: R, Stata, and Python.
