Expression of Interest Postdoctoral Research Position in Economics

Description and Qualifications

Luiss University invites expression of interest for an upcoming position of two years with possibility of one year extension, full-time postdoctoral position in Economics, funded by the ERC Starting Grant DynamicInfoAsym, starting on September 1, 2026. Applicants should have obtained, or be close to completing, a PhD in Economics or a closely related field, and should demonstrate outstanding research potential. A strong theoretical background in microeconomic theory is required.

The project aims to advance the understanding of dynamic markets by studying information transmission among strategic agents and algorithms. The project’s primary objective is to analyze competition in dynamic environments with asymmetric information, combining both positive and normative approaches.

The working language at Luiss is English. The position carries no teaching obligations. The official selection process will start early 2026
