The PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University, invites applications for two full-time Postdoctoral Fellow positions in economic theory and financial economics. The initial appointment is for two years, renewable upon mutual agreement and continued funding.
Position Description
Fellows will work closely with Professor Zhen Zhou on research in applied theory, for example in information economics, contract and information design, and decision theory, with possible connections to financial economics. The position is research-only with no teaching obligations.
This postdoctoral position is funded by an NSFC grant that also involves Professor Junjie Zhou (Tsinghua SEM) and Professor Li An, who may provide additional supervision when appropriate.
The program supports promising young scholars in building independent research agendas and launching successful academic careers. Fellows are encouraged to participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences, and to pursue internal and external research funding.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field, completed within the last two years or by the start date.
Demonstrated research ability and strong academic potential for publishing in top economics and finance journals.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and a clear commitment to high-quality research.
